Nadia Goretti has over twenty-five years’ experience working in the Fashion industry as a freelance sample machinist and pattern cutter for a wide range of high – profile designers & Savile Row Tailoring Houses. During this time, she created garments for commercial use to industry standard whilst running her own Bespoke Tailoring label ‘Tailleur’.
Nadia graduated from Middlesex in fashion Design in 1998 with a well-received androgynous womenswear collection.
For 8 years she trained in Bespoke Tailoring and later was employed by Chris Flourentzou a well-known Tailor and supplier of trimmings to Saville Row. During this time, she had the opportunity to work on many Bespoke projects for customers commissioned by Savile Row Tailoring houses, such as Gieves & Hawkes, Kent Haste & Lachter Ltd, Chittleborough & Morgan & Henry Pool as well as Academy Costume and Fashion Design houses.
Nadia started her own made to measure business in 2004 and built-up knowledge of fitting and pattern cutting to individual measurements and worked with high profile designers and tailors including Charlie Allen, Tom Ford & Joe Casely-Hayford alongside global private clients.
For the past 10 years Nadia has also been a passionate educator of bespoke and industry tailoring methods, teaching pattern cutting and garment construction skills across FE and HE institutions and teaches on both accredited & Non- Accredited courses in Tailoring skills.
Nadia has extensive experience of RTW fashion and Bespoke Tailoring crafts, this expertise allows her to be flexible in the delivery of production methods, as well as bespoke tailoring construction techniques taught at a range of education levels.
