The Tutors of Morley

Morley’s tutors represent dozens of industries and subject areas. Our tutors are chosen because of the specialist skills they offer. This week we wanted to shine a spotlight on the ‘Specialists of Morley’ and celebrate the wonderful teaching staff we have across our three centres.

Professional performers

Fenella Barker is a professional, dance, teacher and choreographer. Since 1990. she has worked nationall and internationally and has been teaching Flamenco & Spanish dance at Morley for nearly 25 years.

Flavio Livigni, is not only our Programme Manager for Jazz and Popular Music. He is also a composer and a fantastic Jazz drummer who has performed at London Jazz Festival, Hamburger Jazztage and many more.

Meet Malcolm Miller, a seasoned professional in his field and new Music Theory tutor.

Meet Lexi Bradburn, administrator in the School of Music & Performing Arts and teaches Rhythm Tap at Morley. A theatre performer and tap dancer, when she’s not at Morley Lexi is creating, producing, and performing in shows. 

Celebrated creators

Printmaking staff Michelle Avison and Paul Dewis are exhibiting in Pleasure Scene after an 18 month collaborative project with 7 other artists. The exhibition also includes work by photography tutor Estelle Vincent. The exhibition is at newly opened contemporart art space Trafalgar Avenue, set up by ex-Morley Printmaking student Graham Martin who is now in the final year MA Painting at the RCA.

Nadia Goretti has over twenty-five years’ experience working in the Fashion industry as a freelance sample machinist and pattern cutter for a wide range of high – profile designers & Savile Row Tailoring Houses. During this time, she created garments for commercial use to industry standard whilst running her own Bespoke Tailoring label ‘Tailleur’.

Meet Billy Abbott, Subject Leader for Media Production at Chelsea. An affable filmmaker, energetic presence and a lifelong learner based in London – Billy has created a variety of visual works as part of his expansive career and the prospect of broadening his horizons remains central to his outlook and ethos on life.

Meet Stephen Mepsted, professional photographer and Morley Programme Manager. He has exhibited widely and his photographs have been published in magazine, newspapers and more.
